 Hint - SOBRIETY
 through nothing but SHEER WILLPOWER
is NOT the ONLY APPROACH ...
YOUR CLEAR PATH to
ALCOHOL RECOVERY
 SHE'S RECOVERED BREAKTHROUGH
a VIP DAY with CRYSTAL and TEAM to BEGIN...

HEY YOU!

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Crystal Fedeli and I am the Creator of She's Recovered!

Here at She's Recovered we are on a mission to reframe our understanding of alcohol recovery because remember when the Big Book once said in Chapter 3 that, ". . . there is no such thing as making a normal drinker out of an alcoholic" and that "Science may one day accomplish this, but it hasn't done so yet"? Well GOOD NEWS because science has finally made a way to make, as the Big Book once said, " . . . a normal drinker out of an alcoholic!

I know this better than anyone because once upon a time I was desperately trying to recover under our society, culture and therefore alcohol recovery system's mainstream approach to alcohol recovery (which is typically the sobriety through nothing but sheer willpower approach), but I couldn't no matter what I did and how hard I tried despite trying for nearly a decade UNTIL I found alternative paths to recovery, recovered in just 3 short months, have stayed recovered ever since, and I then went on to take a seat on the other side of the table to become an expert in the very field I once sought help from.

It's my belief that if you are seeking help and you're not able to recover, it's not your fault, but there is a path forward for you.

You can recover and I can help you!

I SEE YOUR STRUGGLING...

I see you hearing from everyone around you one solution to your problem, and one solution only -  that you can’t drink alcohol anymore, ever again because you have a problem.

So in desperation to get better you decide to not drink ever again.

You feel good for a few hours, maybe if you’re lucky a few days, but eventually you get those overwhelming cravings and obsessive thoughts for alcohol.

You try so hard to ignore them, to shove them down, to distract yourself.

But they keep coming every couple hours, then every hour until eventually you surrender and reach for a drink.

You enjoy that first drink, maybe even the second or third. You start thinking this may be the time when you’re finally able to drink like a "normal person", something you’ve longed for.

But then it becomes fuzzy and the next thing you know, you find yourself waking up to an instant shock of stress that rushes through your entire body with simultaneous flashbacks of what you did last night when you were drunk out of your mind.

You’re embarrassed. You feel such regret. You’re paranoid of the consequences of what you did when you were drunk out of your mind. You’re terrified for the memories that are to come throughout the day ahead of you.

You have such a headache, you’re so thirsty, but you’re also scared that whatever water you drink will just come right back up.

I see you hopeless because you don’t believe you’ll ever get better. You don't see a way out, a solution.

I KNOW DESPITE YOUR EFFORTS, YOU CAN'T GET BETTER NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY AND NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO

You've tried support groups like AA and maybe it worked for a few days, or weeks, or if you were lucky a few months, but eventually you drank alcohol again as if nothing had changed because you drank just as much as the night you quit and you ended up right where you were before you went to AA.

You thought, maybe AA is the problem, it's too rough and rigid, too harsh for you. So you tried another support group that was less rigid, something like Celebrate Recovery or S.M.A.R.T. Recovery, but that didn't work either because you eventually drank (way too  much) alcohol again.

You've tried therapy. In fact all of the therapists keep insisting that you're using alcohol to self-medicate, that you need to fix your mental health and then your issues with alcohol will get better, but you have this deep inner knowing that's not why you drink and so much time has passed and it's still not better.

You may have even tried talking with your doctor, but they have just tried to counsel you to figure out what your triggers are to get you to begin drinking each time and you have this deep inner knowing that you don't drink because of any mental health trigger. Or they just tell you to try keeping a drink log. Or maybe they try to convince you to stop drinking because of the negative effects of heavy drinking to your health over time. They just end up referring you back to a therapist and support group.

You feel like you're BEING SENT in a CIRCLE.

Forget family and friends. They have no tolerance for your issues with alcohol. They tell you that you don't care about them, your kids, your life, etc. They really don't understand why you can't just stop drinking. Their standing question is that if drinking leads to negative consequences for you, then why do you keep doing it?

But you are just as perplexed as they are.

You are hopeless. You have absolutely no confidence that this will ever get better as long as you live here on this earth, in this lifetime.

I totally get it because I've been here myself. I've also worked with so many women who come to me after spending so much time and money with support groups, therapists, doctors, and more and not getting anywhere but instead staying stuck, suffering.

HERE'S THE PROBLEM...

Whenever you mention anything about alcohol recovery to anyone, the first thing they’ll say back to you is something about how they gave up alcohol or that someone they know has been sober for x amount of time.

Whenever someone has trouble with alcohol, the only solution presented to them is that they need to give up alcohol entirely for the rest of their lives, and in many cases through nothing but sheer willpower.

They are recommended to go to AA, get a sponsor, work the 12-Steps, etc.

This is great for the individuals who want this and that this approach works for.

The problem is, this is not what the majority of people want and this approach does not work for the majority if not most people, it’s just the only option that is presented to them.

To make matters worse, if people aren’t successful with this, they are told that they are weak, selfish, choosing to hurt themselves and others, etc.

The more sympathetic way is to insist that they are self medicating to try to cope with a trauma they endured, mental health, etc.

The research, data and statistics are clear - this approach is more likely than not to fail and this approach is failing the majority if not most of the people who need help.

HERE'S THE SOLUTION...

The research, data and statistics has also found a MUCH better approach to our alcohol recovery system’s mainstream approach described above.

Whereas our alcohol recovery system’s mainstream approach is failing the majority if not most people, alternative paths to alcohol recovery instead work for the majority if not most people!

Alternative paths to alcohol recovery also enable a person to be presented with a variety of recovery options that support both moderation or sobriety (yeah, you heard that right, science has found a way to make “ . . . a normal drinker out of an alcoholic.”!!!)!

There are multiple options for recovery that either support moderation or sobriety and for the latter, without the constant and obsessive thoughts and cravings for alcohol.

With this approach, we can go from helping a very small minority to instead helping the majority if not most of those who need help so they can get to living the amazing life waiting for them on the other side!

IF YOU'RE TIRED OF...

Not being able to drink like a "normal" person.

Being the one in the group that keeps keeps drinking even when everyone else is done and leaves.

Trying to hide how many drinks you drink.

Getting so intoxicated to the point where you do something that you later regret.

Coming into work the next morning completely hung over.

Making a vow with yourself (and maybe others) that you'll never drink again or never drink that much again.

Broken relationships because of your drinking.

Strong and obsessive thoughts and cravings for alcohol all day, every day until you pick up another drink.

And so so so much more suffering...
